Safeguarding Spotlights

It is essential that everybody working in a school or college understands their safeguarding responsibilities.

We’re delighted to continue offering Education Child Protection’s Spotlights sessions, a suite of recorded safeguarding courses. Featuring four certified sessions for staff; plus, new for this year, two exclusively for parents, the content has been updated to reflect the 2023/2024 changes to Keeping Children Safe In Education.

Costing only a day of your School Improvement package, this is an excellent way to provide all staff with high quality on-going safeguarding CPD. Each session is an hour long, is delivered remotely and can be joined at a time to suit staff teams and/or individuals. They are available for the whole term in which they run.

The sessions will cover:

  • Online safety (also for parents)
  • Child on child abuse (also for parents)
  • Radicalisation
  • Staff professional behaviour (including code of conduct, low-level concerns and whistleblowing)
