LDBS Platform Programme

Courses and programmes are now available to book for 2024/2025. There is a 20% discount for every extra place booked on the same course (except NPQs).

As a traded company to the London Diocesan Board for Schools, we would like to draw your attention to The LDBS Platform programme, designed for new and aspiring Global Majority Heritage* (GMH) leaders to receive quality support and coaching.

*Global Majority Heritage is a collective term referring to people who are Black, African, Asian, dual-heritage, indigenous to the Global South and/or racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’.

I am passionate about supporting schools to recruit strong leaders from all backgrounds, and I want to make sure that up-and-coming school leaders don’t have to face the same barriers as I did.
Great content on imposter syndrome and how to deal with these feelings when they arise. Thank you for opening my eyes and all the encouragement to believe in myself. After almost 8 years of teaching, this course has made me think about what my next steps are.

The Platform is part of the London Diocesan Board for School (LDBS)’s strategy to attract, develop and retain GMH leaders, through a year’s programme of support, coaching and mentoring.

Featuring two seminars a term in a learning community, it is suitable for phase leaders, AHTs/DHTs, Heads of School and Headteachers as a platform for their future development. All seminars include presentation, discussion, interactive exercises and networking.

The cost of the programme is £600, but for 2024-2025 the LDBS are delighted to continue offering it at a heavily discounted rate of £150 for core and affiliated schools. Course dates are as follows:

  • Day 1: 21 November 2024 @ 9.30am – 11am
  • Day 2: Time & date TBC
  • Day 3: 19 June 2025 @ 9.30am – 11am
