5-day subject leader development programme, suitable for those leading RE for at least two years and have at least three years teaching experience behind them.
As an introductory offer, this programme is being subsidised by the LDBS, meaning it will be 50% of usual fee for 2022/2023 only.

This programme is run in conjuction with the Southwark Diocese, with a vision to inspire and enable those with responsibility for RE in being ‘strategic, impactful and flourishing leaders’. Led by Rebecca Swansbury (Canterbury Diocese), and supported by Shaun Burns (Southwark) and Mary Thorne (LDBS), it is aimed at leaders who want to develop their subject leadership skills, to ensure it is strategic, has an impact on the whole school and is driven by the school’s distinctive Christian vision.

  • Conducted in modern, bright open-spaced rooms, there is access to AV equipment & wifi, if needed.
  • Kindly note that we can typically accommodate between 25-35 attendees for each course or programme.
  • We are located in the London Congestion and ULEZ zone and parking in the surrounding area is limited and strictly controlled.
  • As we are unable to offer private parking at our premises, we would recommend travelling by public transport, or on foot.
