Course Details
This full-day, face-to-face course will support subject leaders and teachers to understand, plan and teach the working scientifically skills (disciplinary knowledge) included in the National Curriculum.
Science subject leaders and teachers who attend this course will:
- become familiar with the working scientifically skills
- begin to explore, through a range of practical activities, the progression in the working scientifically skills from EYFS to Year 6
- become familiar with the process of scientific enquiry and the five types of scientific enquiry in the National Curriculum
- understand the relationship between the working scientifically skills and the types of scientific enquiry.
