Safeguarding Society

Courses and programmes are now available to book for 2025/2026. There is a 20% discount for every extra place booked on the same course (except NPQs).

From September 2024, we are delighted to be able to provide schools with outstanding safeguarding training throughout the year, through membership of ECP’s Safeguarding Society.

I particularly liked the approach and manner of delivery by the facilitators. No one was put on the spot or pressured to give a response. As a result, this created a climate in which all participants felt comfortable sharing.

Education Child Protection (ECP) is a specialist child protection and safeguarding training company working with organisations across all sectors who come into contact with children, young people, families and adults at risk.

Through our strong partnership with them, we have brokered a discounted offer to support primary and secondary schools with safeguarding training, DSL forum attendance and a host of blogs & webinars covering a range of aspects.

In exchange for Grow days, you can opt for a range of package options, depending on the needs of your school. A brief overview is shared below and further information can be found here on the ECP website ›

The three packages offered are:

1. Complete: 3 x yearly robust training
Primary: 1 Grow day
Secondary: 2 Grow days

  • New staff induction (60 mins), Child Protection Awareness (3 hours), Governor Safeguarding Training (90 minutes) & CPD training and briefings (2 x 1 hour / 4 x 25 mins)

2. Essential: Annual safeguarding updates
Primary: 1 Grow day
Secondary: 1.5 Grow days

  • New staff induction (60 mins), KCSIE 2024/2025 annual safeguarding update (Facilitator session 60-90 mins), CPD training and briefings (2 x 1 hour / 4 x 25 mins) & Parent session (2 x 25 mins)

3. Foundation: 6 x CPD sessions
Primary: 3/4 Grow day
Secondary: 1 Grow day

  • CPD training and briefings (2 x 1 hour / 4 x 25 mins) & Parent session (2 x 25 mins)

Covering a wide selection of aspects including Curriculum, Leadership, the Early Career Framework for Westminster ECTs through the Central London Teaching Hub, SEND, Communications, HR, CE Schools and Safeguarding (in collaboration with our partners ECP), our courses and programmes offer high quality training, coupled with exceptional value for money.

All are specialist led, and incorporate current recommendations and accepted good practice to ensure stimulating and inspiring sessions for all participants. As a traded service for LDBS (London Diocesan Board for Schools), we work closely in their delivery of NPQs for the Church of England CEFEL.

  • As we are located within the London Congestion and ULEZ zones and parking in the surrounding area is extremely limited and strictly controlled, we recommend travelling to the venue by public transport
  • Our courses and programmes are conducted in modern, bright and open-spaced rooms with access to AV equipment & Wifi
  • We typically accommodate between 25 to 35 attendees for each course or programme
  • A lift service is available and our venue is wheelchair accessible throughout
  • Guide dogs are welcome by prior arrangement
