Very enjoyable, relevant and useful. It was good to have a refreshment of this topic and I have taken away a couple of things. Very useful discussion surrounding parents and support staff - I liked that questions were answered and we did not stick to powerpoints. Also good to have that reminder that it's ok to make mistakes.
Very engaging, funny and informative - the best yet. Showcased the practical activities in the classroom, not just theory. Great resources recommended along with great advice on how to deliver them in class - I really needed some more excitement in maths for my Year 1. Thank you – a good mix of KS1 and KS2 ideas. This was an excellent session – really helpful practical games to play.

We appreciate how vital it is for newly qualified teachers to be supported in their first year as teachers. Our training programme focuses on key strategies, ideas and topics essential in developing concrete teaching skills. You can choose to book the complete NQT training programme or you can opt for individual sessions, provided your NQTs are either:

  • attending a Local Authority NQT programme which does not include certain aspects (e.g. RE) or
  • in their second year of teaching and would benefit from specific sessions to embed practice
  • new to teaching in the UK

To book an individual session, please click on the course details below.

Covering a wide selection of topics including Strategic Improvement, Curriculum, SEND, Safeguarding & Mental Health, CE Schools & SIAMsHR and Data Protection, our short courses offer high quality professional development coupled with exceptional value for money. As with our Leadership, NQT Training and Teaching RE programmes, all are specialist led and incorporate current recommendations and accepted good practice to ensure stimulating and inspiring sessions for all participants.
