Course Details
SPIRITUALITY is emerging as a regular area for development in SIAMS inspections. This course is now free and will support leaders in schools expecting a SIAMS either this year or next.
The session will :
- explore a number of different ways of looking at and understanding spirituality.
- share ideas on how to begin to develop high quality provision,
- explore what spirituality looks like across the curriculum and how to encourage, develop and foster children’s spiritual growth in all aspects of the curriculum and school life.
Leaders will gain confidence and a knowledge of resources to try in their own schools
Instructors
- Mary Thorne leads on many of our RE courses. She leads on RE for the LDBS primary schools and runs the RE network meetings.
- Kathryn Kane works closely with chaplains and secondary RE leaders.
