Keeping You Safe

As we all learn to live with Covid-19, we can assure you that we remain focused on keeping you as safe as possible when you visit us.

At our venue in 36 Causton Street, we’re taking the following steps to ensure everyone’s safety:

  • Displaying the NHS Test & Trace QR poster at the main reception for visitors to log their attendance.
  • Testing staff regularly using free NHS test kits (lateral flow tests), with compulsory mask-wearing in all common parts.
  • Cleaning training spaces daily, with frequent touch points e.g. reception area, door handles etc cleaned throughout the day.
  • Sanitising all furniture and facilities in our training and meeting rooms during set up.
  • Wiping down desks and equipment before and after each session with anti-bacterial disposable wipes.
  • Actively encouraging social distancing.
  • Restricting the use of the lift to one person at a time.
  • Maximising natural ventilation where possible.
  • Switching off air-conditioning to minimise air, and any possible infection, circulating around the building.
  • Minimising contamination with food and beverages e.g. ensuring separate packaging where possible and that all cutlery and crockery are washed beforehand at a high temperature. All kitchenware provided will be washed before and after use.
  • On the rare occasion the maximum agreed number for a course is exceeded, we will formally review the risk and make appropriate adjustments.

We know that you will share our desire to minimise infection transmission. Therefore when visiting us, we respectfully ask that you:

Scan the NHS Test & Trace QR code poster

Log into the NHS Test & Trace via the QR code poster displayed in our reception. Please also register your name and school on entry so that we can act promptly in the event of a positive case.

Be mindful of social distancing

Please be prepared to wait your turn if necessary when entering our building or walking up the stairs. Do make use of the hand sanitisers provided on entry as well as in our training rooms.

Help us keep everyone safe by wearing a mask

As much as possible but always when moving through communal facilities and areas (toilets, staircases, lift) and preferably in the training room when appropriate (when participating in a group etc).

Don’t attend if you have Covid-19 symptoms

Take a lateral flow test preferably on the evening before or the morning of the session. Should you test positive after visiting us, please contact us so we can inform other attendees.
